William Roy Lumpkin

Monday, January 29, 2007 Mr. William R. “Little Roy” Lumpkin, age 39 of 136 Rustic View Drive, Resaca, died Sunday January 28th. in Floyd Medical Center following a brief illness. “Little Roy” was born in Gordon County on November 13, 1967 son of Glinda Choate Sutton and James Daniel Lumpkin. He was a lifelong resident of Gordon County and was preceded in death by a sister Tammy Fowler and grandparents Opal and Roy Choate. Survivors include his mother Glinda Sutton and her husband Jim of Resaca and a brother; Timothy Daniel Lumpkin of Ft. Myers, Fla. Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday Feb. 1st. 2007 from the Chapel of the Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Langston officiating.
