William Holmun Rice

William Holmun Rice, age 80 of Sugar Valley, passed away on Saturday, June 24^th at his residence.

William was born on March 21, 1943, in Brinkley, Arkansas to the late Nathan Edward Rice and Nellie Marie Holman Rice. He was retired from the United States Navy, after retirement from the Navy, he also retired from Tennessee Valley Authority. William was an avid hunter, artist, master wood worker, mechanic, he was a smooth talker and a loving family man. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his child Carol Hammer Rice, wife Kim Cate Rice; brothers, Nathan Eddy Rice, Jr., and Bobby Rice.

He is survived by his son, Mike Rice; grandchildren, Shane Rice, Michael Rice, Mathew Rice, and Meagan Rice; great-grandchildren, Dean Rice, Callie Rice, Chloe Rice, Isaiah Rice, Ryland Murray, and Sela Murray; siblings, Charles Aubrey Rice, Henry Rice, and Dana Reid.

Military Rites will be afforded by United States Navy at Georgia National Cemetery, Wednesday, July 5^th at 10 AM.
