Wyman Harold Autry

Wyman Harold Autry, age 84, of Plainville, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024.

Wyman was born on February 11, 1940, in Gordon County. Son of the late Clyde Lee Autry Sr. and Fannie Mae Scott Autry. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by: four brothers, C.L. Autry, Jack Autry, Billy Autry, and Eugene Autry; and one sister, Betty Autry Cleveland. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was an electrician prior to his retirement. Wyman was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Plainville and the Plainville Masonic Lodge #364 F&AM.

He is survived by his children, Kim Fuller and her husband Ted, Dennis Autry and his wife Debi, and Lynn Autry Laudeman; six grandchildren, Tyler (Terrilynn) Autry, Lexie Fuller, Luke (Sydney) Fuller, A.J. Laudeman, Forest Laudeman, and Coley McGhee; three great-grandchildren, Max Heida, Parker Casola, and Gracen Fuller; and brother, Troy (Mary) Autry. 

Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 3 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Ron Bankston officiating. Burial will follow in Scott Cemetery. Prior to the service the family will receive friends from 2 PM until 3PM.

Pallbearers serving are Kerry Autry, Greg Cleveland, Stanley Cleveland, Farron Autry, Keith Braden, Tyler Autry, Luke Fuller, Forest Laudeman, and Wayne Selman. 

Honorary Pallbearers are members of the Plainville Masonic Lodge #364.
